Transcendental Blues

Trancendental Blues Cover

B.B. King probably wouldn't consider this a blues song. There are more than three chords. Somehow it makes me think of some bizarre Eastern European dive bar. But the lyrics are about the blues, here they are:

Strollin' down the avenue
    ramblin 'thout a plan.
Must be somethin' missin'
like the toast without the jam.
Don't nobody want me,
life's out and on the lam.
I'm buckled bent and busted
    like an old tin can.

- - Life can be so easy...

I'm a roamin' cowboy
got my feet stuck in the clay.
I'll be found the world around
    and never go away.
Send me off forever
I'll be home the end of day.
Say the game is up
and I'll soon begin to play

-- Live can be so hard...

refrain:
Crazy living, I ain't got no alibi.
When pennies rain from heaven
I am left here high and dry.
The belfry has been broken
and the bats are on the loose.
My bridges are all burning
    with these Transcendental Blues.

You're the roller coaster
that has fallen from the track.
You feel the sting from when the wing
    were pullen from your back.
All the things you have
are all the things you used to lack.
Stick your head inside the bars
and feed the beast it's snack.

Crazy living, I ain't got no alibi.
When pennies rain from heaven
I am left here high and dry.
The belfry has been broken
and the bats are on the loose.
My bridges are all burning
    with these Transcendental Blues.

Well... they are sorta like the blues... in some universe. The outro is kindof a left-join of Beethoven's 5th & "Song of the Volga Boatmen."
