Another fine example of some of the outstanding brick piles in Savannah... It take courage for a designer/architect/builder to construct a building using three colors of brick. At some time the look will go out of style. At that point the designer/architect/builder can only hope the building is owned by a cheap landlord who doesn't care about fashion or someone who appreciates the art and craftsmanship that went into the making of the structure. Any other type of owner might be tempted to cover up the unfashionable brick work with the latest paint color leading to an unending parade of short-term solutions to problem of temporal esthetics.
