Old Gas Station

This old gas station doesn't even have pumps any more. It lives along the road in South Carolina. What this picture doesn't show is what is behind the station. Because of how the trees are planted around the house I couldn't get a good shot. The house that is behind the station is a huge, old, two-story house. There is no paint left on it at all and the front porch has columns that go all of the way to the second floor roofline. It looks as if someone is still living there because a rather new broom was leaning against one of the columns. The broom seemed to be the only evidence of houskeeping because there was still a fair amount of clutter on the porch. it's amazing the things you can see when looking behind something.
