Lightening Rod on a Roof Top

In this one part of the Adirondack Mountains in North Carolina, I began noticing lots of old houses with green-painted metal roofs. They aquired a very pretty patina after all of these years. This defunct house was surrounded by trees, but I was able to get a picture of its lightening rod.
