Big Rock

Why by-golly this looks like a big ol' plutonic rock sitting right next to the river. Everything around it has eroded away over the eons. A little bit of magma a few hundred-million years ago?

This is the Middle fork of the Eel River, isn't the color of the river beautiful? Wherever I see that color, it always gets to me.
